if your headlights go up but not down it's probably a bad relay. any help/ suggestions would b great. i promise. One under the drivers seat, two along the drivers side going to the back and one located around the trunk latch. I use not have a good ground for mine and it would blink with the music. It can cause the lights on the cluster to not work, plus give issues with control of your wipers.

Now just letting the hub bolts soak in WD40 before I crack on them tonight. "It's a common problem in 240's, no dash lights. Loading... I disconnected that from the harness and jumpered it to a ground. The only drawback is that the dimmer dosnt work anymore and the climate control panel has no lights.
First remove the cluster, then pull out your digital volt meter. No dashlights! The side with fewer mounted components that looks like it has green paths running around will most likely have one of those traces burned out. Sign in to make your opinion count.
I have some experience in PCB design and notice a lot of design errors. Check the dc voltage across the contacts of the large bulbs. Side note: checked the plugs on the cluster they are good....checked harness chassis grounds...all good. even if you don't swap clusters, the only reliable way to determine if the harness is working properly is to pull the cluster and run a multimeter on each of the Alternatively find someone with a HUD car and see if they'll let you swap your cluster into their car.
