Kinda hard to help without the video card details. What if you change the laptop screen resolution to 800×600 and try again after that? I am really stuck here!!! and nothing works.
If it isn't set to the correct input, this will all still work. Hold down Fn and then press on F4. Kelley October 6, 2007 | I have a Dell Latitude notebook and can't get it to show a picture on the T.V. Very bizarre.

What do I need to do to get my laptop to display pictures on the big screen equally as well as the Canon SLR is capable of doing? http://drivit.net/s-video/s-video-not-working.html I've installed all the drivers for my rig on my laptop's hard drive(XP), but that was because I hot-swapped the hard drive into the rig itself. I would gladly appreciate any help. When I push the button to switch to the external monitor, it tells me there's no external device attatched.

I have attached monitor 2 to monitor 1 through the "display settings" but to no avail. Also, make sure all of the hardware is connected before turning on the computer; you may have trouble getting the video card to recognize the TV as the second monitor - I used a Dynex 3.5 mm cable for the sound and I cant hear a thing from the tv . have a peek here I went to Radio Shack, Staples and Walmart and none of them sell them, nor do they sell the male to male RCA cable.
You can only upload files of type PNG, JPG, or JPEG. Then I tried dragging an application (VLC player) to this monitor. What kind of TV do you have?
