If the file cannot be found, the best way to proceed is to remove Sims 3 from the system and reinstall it after that. Just find the package file in your The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder and delete it! But the real problem I have with that is I can't install any downloads, becouse when I do, this problem happens. Start your game. The game started to load, but after a few seconds, it crashed. Start The Sims 3 Launcher, once it has loaded select the Downloads tab 2.
It would either take way too long to start, or..just seem to never start at all. Some of the worlds I already have installed so why they are showing up in the Downloads Dashboard with the install button next to it I do not know.
